- Specifications
- The 30WC4U is a 1 quart (32 oz.) unlined metal paint can and lid, generally used for solvents and oil-based products. The Cary Company offers accessories for the 30WC4U, such as paint can opener, closer, can clips and more. This metal container has a layer of tinplate mill oil, often referred to as TMO or protective oil, applied to tinplate coils, serving several tightly controlled functions across corrosion protection, processability and surface quality. Freshly produced tinplate is highly susceptible to oxidation, especially at cut edges and micro-porosities in the tin coating. Mill oil forms a thin hydrophobic barrier that limits oxygen and moisture contact, reduces the risk of “white rust” (tin oxide formation) and preserves brightness during storage and transit.
Key benefits- Gray or gold epoxy phenolic linings are available with environmentally-friendly, product-resistant powder stripe placed over the side seam.
- Paint cans with ARMLOKS are certified to UN Performance Oriented Packaging (Part 173.27), U.S. Postal Service and UPS requirements
- Rings and plugs have three points of contact (tripletite) to prevent paint from migrating out of cans while remaining easy for consumers to open
- Full lithography is available on cans and plugs.
