The 57WPN4 is a 4.25 gallon natural HDPE plastic round pail with plastic handle. This FDA Compliant container is ideal for dry products, food, bulk retail and industrial applications. Built with plastic hand grips to make carrying and pouring easy. Pails are space saving containers, stackable for storing and shipping, and easily nest and separate when empty. Pail can withstand temperatures up to 180° F.

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended. HDPE also generally works well in below freezing temperatures.
