The 56WP3W is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and has a 3.5 gallon capacity. This 3.5 gallon white plastic pail has a 90mil wall and metal handle with plastic grip and comes packed 120/unit. Lid options include white tear strip lid (56WPZP) and white tear strip lid with Rieke Flexspout (56WPRI). Other styles, sizes and colors available upon request.

Specifications
The 56WP3W is a 3.5 gallon open head white plastic pail tough enough to store hardware supplies and secure enough to protect contents. Strong reinforcing ribs guarantee that it will keep its shape. This durable round commercial grade container can be used to safely store or ship products including food, dairy and chemicals. Container and cover can be hot filled up to 180°F, steam sterilized and frozen. Features a tapered design which allows empty buckets to nest for storage and separate easily, while pails with lids are stackable.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 145°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.

Our pails and lids are classified as part of a designated Series, which makes pairing this pail with a compatible lid easier. Simply match the size (e.g., 5 gallon) and series (P5 Series) of the pail and lid to find a proper fit.
Can this round plastic pail be used for food products?
If the pail is FDA approved (listed under the Additional Information section of this product page), then it is safe to store and transport food and food ingredients.

Where is the 3.5 gallon fill line?
Thank you for your inquiry. The capacity to rim is 3.9 gallons. The capacity to the cover is 3.7 gallons. The 3.5 gallon mark is the third rim from the top.
