The 26W70N is a UN rated 5 gallon gray steel pail with epoxy phenolic lining. This open head pail's epoxy phenolic lining provides excellent chemical resistance for alkaline products such as fatty acids, detergents, emulsions, foods, general organic chemicals, surfactants, and water based resins. Used with the correct components, this pail provides optimal packaging protection for products. Lid sold separately. Full decoration is available on bodies and covers for enhanced brand recognition.

Epoxy phenolic lining:
Epoxy phenolic lining improves the lining's flexibility, meaning it can adhere to dents or bends in the steel container, thus preventing contamination. It provides outstanding chemical resistance for alkaline products (those whose pH range from 7.0 to 9.0) including water-based resins, fatty acids, detergents, emulsions, foods, general organic chemicals, and surfactants. Epoxy phenolic is not recommended for use with acids or solvents. Additionally, epoxy phenolic lining has high heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Steel containers with an epoxy phenolic lining are ideal for applications that require excellent chemical resistance as well as general industrial use. This lining is manufactured with FDA-compliant raw materials.
