This top entry mixer is designed to efficiently turn-over small batches of a variety of different liquids and solids. It can be easily mounted onto your open top 55-gallon drum cover, providing a portable and heavy-duty agitating system. It is also available with stainless steel covers. This direct drive pail and drum mixer couple the mixer shaft directly to the motor, allowing it to run at a higher speed. They also feature a shaft support bearing that helps steady the mixing shaft when in use, reducing wear on the motor. The smaller mixing blades make it a better choice for mixing small batches of lower viscosities liquids and materials. The mixing blades fold down due to gravity and open when in use. The measured blade length is the blade's diameter when extended during operation. The air motor features variable speed control and is explosion proof.
