89mm 89-400 Black Plastic Dome Cap, Pressure Sensitive Liner (Printed)
This 89mm black dome cap is made of polypropylene (PP) plastic and has a pressure sensitive liner. The cap has a glossy top and side, and a sloping rounded edge. This container top features a pressure sensitive liner that creates an actual seal to provide an extra level of protection. These caps are best for dry products and can, at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils.
This liner is sized to fit industry standard 89mm neck finishes. Due to the variation in neck finish dimensions, particularly with glass bottles, we recommend testing the compatibility of this liner with your bottle/cap combination. To request a sample, please click here.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
