The 67W89S is a 89mm white industry standard cap with pressure sensitive liner. This closure is made of polypropylene and fits our 89-400 bottles and jars. Industry standard caps feature a textured top and ribbed sides. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing lid. Pressure sensitive liners create an actual seal which provides an extra level of protection. They are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils. The Cary Company offers accessories for the 67W89S such as extra liners, shrink bands and more.

This liner is sized to fit industry standard 89mm neck finishes. Due to the variation in neck finish dimensions, particularly with glass bottles, we recommend testing the compatibility of this liner with your bottle/cap combination. To request a sample, please click here.

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
