The 67WP89 is a 89-400 black smooth cap with pressure sensitive liner. This closure is made of polypropylene and fits our 89-400 bottles and jars. This cap has a glossy smooth top as well as side. Pressure sensitive liners create an actual seal which provides an extra level of protection. They are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils. The Cary Company offers accessories for the 67WP89 such as extra liners, shrink bands and more.

This liner is sized to fit industry standard 89mm neck finishes. Due to the variation in neck finish dimensions, particularly with glass bottles, we recommend testing the compatibility of this liner with your bottle/cap combination. To request a sample, please click here.

Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
