The 68W40G is a 38mm green cap, unlined ribbed sided tamper evident. This closure is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and fits our 38mm bottles and jars that accommodate a 358DBJ neck finish. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing lid.

- The 68W40G is a 38mm green cap, unlined ribbed sided tamper evident. This closure is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and fits our 38mm bottles and jars that accommodate a 358DBJ neck finish. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing lid.
DBJ Neck Finish
The DBJ neck finish has a "J" style slit bridge tamper evident closure that is recommended for use with HDPE blow molded and PET injection molded bottles with three lead neck finish bottles that use a proprietary neck finish. It can be used with torque application equipment. The cap is NOT applicable with carbonated products, hot-fill applications, nitrogen gas injected applications, or for freezing. It complies with FDA (21CFR175 & 178).The Proof is in the Packaging

Material:
High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 171°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.
