The 68WF34 is a 33mm white smooth cap with heat induction liner for HDPE. This closure is made of polypropylene and fits our 33-400 bottles and jars. This cap has a glossy smooth top as well as side. Induction liners are a popular choice when a tamper evident air tight seal is needed. The liner has a foam back and printed seal for added protection. Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
