The 67W44F is a 43mm (43-485 neck finish) white FlapMate® flapper cap with pressure sensitive liner. This polypropylene (PP) plastic cap features a snap closure with 5 holes (each 0.200" wide) for dispensing powdered or dry products. This closure is a popular option for bulk ingredients such as herbs and spices, gardening and industrial supplies. Pressure sensitive liners create an actual seal which provides an extra level of protection. They are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils.

This liner is sized to fit industry standard 43mm neck finishes. Due to the variation in neck finish dimensions, particularly with glass bottles, we recommend testing the compatibility of this liner with your bottle/cap combination. To request a sample, please click here.

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has good chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 165°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.

What’s the difference between a flapper cap and a spice cap?
Spice caps are lids without holes. These caps often have a plastic band with holes that snaps onto the neck of the container for dispensing. Flapper caps feature a snap opening with slotted openings for dispensing.
What applications are commonly used with spice caps?
In addition to spices and herbs, these caps commonly store powdered applications for gardening, cleaning and industrial industries.

This is my first purchase of white caps. I have used other colors of this same cap and have full confidence this cap will perform as expected and required.

I wish the hinge on the cap were a little thicker. Every once in a while the plastic breaks and the hinge doesn't work correctly. I like the white cap though because it sets my product apart from my competitors. I am considering trying a cap that is less likely to break though.
