Uni-Foam™ PS-113 Pressure Sensitive (Imprinted with "Sealed for Freshness" in Black)
The 67W45F is a 43mm (43-485 neck finish) black FlapMate® flapper cap with a pressure sensitive liner. This polypropylene (PP) plastic cap features a snap closure with 5 holes (each 0.200" wide) for dispensing powdered or dry products. It has a butterfly hinge for easy opening and closing and flap that can stay in a wide open position. This closure is a popular option for bulk ingredients such as herbs and spices, confectionery, sweeteners, personal care, grated cheese, and other dry products. Pressure sensitive liners create an actual seal which provides an extra level of protection. They are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils.
This liner is sized to fit industry standard 43mm neck finishes. Due to the variation in neck finish dimensions, particularly with glass bottles, we recommend testing the compatibility of this liner with your bottle/cap combination. To request a sample, please click here.
** Pressure sensitive liners are not considered a form of tamper evident seal.

Uni-Foam™ PS-113 Pressure Sensitive Liner Composition The Uni-Foam™ PS-113 Pressure Sensitive Liner is a one-piece uniform polystyrene foam layer coated on one side with a specially formulated torque-activated adhesive. (Not approved for use with wet products.)
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products. Discover if Polypropylene is appropriate for hot fill application by learning more about What Is Hot Fill Packaging and how it applies to Polypropylene containers.
