- Heavy duty Injection molded commercial/industrial plastic ink containers provide better structural integrity and chemical resistance. High levels of black color concentrate; used in the molding process of these plastic ink containers, block UV light from curing the ink contents increasing shelf life. The thick wall construction provide additional barrier protection for UV and Standard (solvent based) inks. Commercial/Industrial plastic ink containers eliminate problems associated with denting and rust caused by water based UV inks. The (tapered) impact resistant plastic ink can design utilizes a snap on tight fitting lid, that locks on tight to ensure lids stay on during shipment.
5 lb. High Impact resistant Tapered Plastic Commercial / Industrial plastic ink containers have a unique snap on design that resist coming off even when dropped from heights of 5 ft.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
