EZ Stor® Red Tamper-Evident Hinged Plastic Lid w/Pull Ring (2-gallon)

The 56W2RL is a red polypropylene (PP) plastic EZ Stor® dry seal, tamper-evident hinged cover for 56WEC2 and 56WEZ2 2-Gallon EZ Stor® containers. EZ Stor® containers are convenient, tamper-evident, stackable, space-efficient and refillable. With a quick zip of the tear tab and pull strip, the hinged cover opens easily. After securing lid to container, simply pull the tamper evident tear strip allowing access to the built in hinge. Then grab the lid firmly and pull up. Not recommended to store liquids.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.
