- This is a 1 pint All-Plastic black paint can and lid without ears. Also known as regrind paint can, the container and lid are crafted of recycled polypropylene. The lid features a triple-lock seal that is designed to snap on tightly without leaking or spilling. Specially treated lid resists "skinning," so container contents remain fresh. This paint can and lid can be used to package coatings, adhesives, mastics and other viscous product, but are more commonly used for water based and latex paints.
All-Plastic Paint Can Containers
The key feature of the All-Plastic paint can container is a triple-lock closure system that creates an airtight seal - no matter how many times the container is opened and closed. The container is designed to protect the integrity of today's advanced formulations from the fill line to the end user. All-Plastic paint cans are available in black. They are dent resistant and a great alternative to standard tin paint cans. They are commonly used for water based and latex paints.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products. Discover if Polypropylene is appropriate for hot fill application by learning more about What Is Hot Fill Packaging and how it applies to Polypropylene containers.Disclaimer:
