Part # : 68W37L

38mm Pressure Sensitive Liner, No Print

The 68W37L is a 38mm polystyrene white foam coated (PS-22) liner insert with a pressure sensitive coating. Pressure sensitive liners create an actual seal, providing an extra level of protection compared to a basic foam liner. They are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils. Material is a styrene foam innerseal coated with a torque activated coating. It has adhesion to glass and plastic bottles with metal or plastic caps (No Print on top).

This liner is sized to fit industry standard 38mm neck finishes. Due to the variation in neck finish dimensions, particularly with glass bottles, we recommend testing the compatibility of this liner with your bottle/cap combination. To request a sample, please click here.
**Pressure sensitive liners are non-returnable.
**Pressure sensitive liners are not considered a form of tamper evident seal.

  • Single-use foam seal peels easily from container

  • Recommended for sealing dry products

Cap Liner Type:

Pressure Sensitive Liner (PS-22 .020” Polystyrene Foam Liner - Not Printed)
Structurally similar to a foam liner, pressure sensitive liners have adhesive on one side, designed to stick on to the rim of a container. When a container is closed and pressure is applied to the cap (and in turn, the liner), the adhesive becomes activated, which creates a seal. Pressure sensitive liners provide an extra level of protection in that it actually creates a seal that sticks to the rim of the bottle. Pressure seals are not considered a form of tamper evident seal. They do not work well with liquids, especially oils. They can, at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces.
