    The Cary Company's configurable 5" type 316 stainless steel single cartridge filter housings are ideal for filtration applications across industries. This filter housing offers a 300 PSI pressure rating and ring nut closure for easy access during change out. The DOE design has a spring loaded bottom seat cup for positive seal and easy installation, while the 1/4" NPT dirt drain port allows for complete evacuation prior to change out. This single cartridge liquid filter vessel has a 316 stainless steel construction to allow for superior corrosion resistance compared to type 304 stainless steel alternatives.

    All of our configurable single cartridge filter housings feature a heavy-duty cast head with mounting bracket, dual closure seal and inline port design. Customize the inlet/outlet size with 3/4" female NPT and 1" female NPT available. With multiple cartridge housing lengths available as well, configure the filter housing to the required specifications for your application here!

    Material:

    Stainless steel 316 (SS316) exhibits excellent corrosion resistance. It has an oxidation resistance of 1600°F for intermittent service and 1700°F during continuous service. SS316 is often found in pipes and coils, as well as food preparation and laboratory equipment. The Cary Company has tense strength 316 stainless steel drums, which are able to resist against breaking when under strain and corrosion.
