This 3/4" white plastic Snapseal drum capseal is made for steel drums with a hex-head bung. They can be applied without crimping tools for easy sealing. Capseals help maintain freshness or prevent spills and leaks. These capseals are made of durable high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. Colored plastic is ideal for color-coding products.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended. HDPE also generally works well in below freezing temperatures.
