These polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane cartridges provide superior chemical resistance for applications with aggressive fluids, inert gases, fermentation feed air and more. In air applications, the PTFE membrane offers superior hydrophobicity versus polypropylene or PVDF. This provides an alternative to preclude water wetting and associated diminished flow.
Our configurable standard grade PTFE filter cartridges are manufactured in a clean room environment to ensure high purity. All materials of construction comply with FDA regulations for food and beverage contact. These cartridges are compatible with most chemical sanitizing agents. When combined with the stainless steel insert options, the filter cartridges can be hot water sanitized or steam sterilized. Configurable options include micron ratings from .1 to .45 micron, end cap style, gasket material, optional stainless steel compression spring and stainless steel insert.
