This is a 24 gauge steel lug cover that includes an epoxy phenolic lining. The lining makes for good chemical resistant and is perfect for strong alkaline & water-based products. This pail lid is a great choice for storing and dispensing coatings, adhesives, mastics and other viscous products. Using crimping tools (sold separately) creates a secure seal on steel pails to prevent spills and leaks.
