Specifications
This is a bridge mount 1/2 HP explosion proof (X-Proof) gear drive tote mixer with a 1.0" Dia. x 36" L mixing shaft (Series 5109). This durable mixer has dual 10" blades and 425 mixer shaft RPM. The measured blade length is the blade's diameter when extended during operation. Series 5109 mixers are compatible with IBC totes that have a 6" center cap as they feature collapsible turbines. These collapsible turbines allow for easy installation through small openings with the ability to agitate square or rectangular containers. This IBC tote mixer has a wide range of mixing applications in the paint, food and chemical industries and more.

Gear drive mixers have larger mixing blades with the ability to mix thicker fluids. The gear drive creates additional torque as it incorporates a gear reducer. X-Proof motors are explosion proof electric motors that are ideal for additional safety when mixing potentially volatile liquids.

This IBC tote mixer has a 316 stainless steel construction on all wetted parts and the motor is coated with USDA approved stainless steel paint. Durable and versatile, the tote agitator can evenly blend and agitate liquids including some dyes, varnishes, compounds and more.
