The 57W5RW is a 5.33 gallon white regrind HDPE (high-density polyethylene) round pail (90 mil wall thickness) with a metal handle. This plastic pail differs from typical regrind pails, which are made of a lesser quality mix of regrind material. This 5 gallon bucket is compatible with the following lids: 57WPTS, 57WWZP, and 57WPTI.

The 5.33 gallon white regrind HDPE (high-density polyethylene) round pail with metal wire handle is ideal for non food companies and liquid industrial applications. Pails are slightly tapered so you can stack and separate easily. The metal handle and bottom plastic hand grips make handling and pouring easier.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended. HDPE also generally works well in below freezing temperatures.

Yes, you can use a pail heater with this pail. However, be sure the heater can be used on a plastic pail and find out what temperature the pail can withstand before applying the heater.
How many cubic feet in a 5 gallon pail?
The simple conversion of measurement of 5 gallons is 0.803 cubic feet. However, this is for the nominal capacity of the pail. The actual (overflow) capacity of a pail can vary from model to model. To calculate the full volume in cubic feet, for cylinder pails, you need to multiply π (3.14) x the pail radius (in feet) x the pail height (in feet). To calculate the volume for square pails, multiply the pail's length x width x height (in feet).
