This white continuous thread plastic cap has a 70mm (70-400) neck finish with a three-ply co-extruded polyethylene foam liner (F217 style). This closure is made of polypropylene (PP) plastic and fits our 70-400 vials, bottles, and jars. This plastic cap features a textured (matte) top and a ribbed side design great for gripping. The 3-ply foam liner is compatible with many substances for household, cosmetic, food and beverage or water based applications.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
