19BS76 is a 120v spherical heating mantle for full-coverage, uniform heat to 2000 ml round bottom flasks. This laboratory heating mantle is an excellent alternative to open flame heating methods such as a Bunsen burner. This full-coverage heating mantle features an opening which can hold 1, 2 or 3 neck flasks and is ideal for use with a basket ring stand. The knitted heating element is capable of temperatures up to 842° F (450° C). Temperature controller required.

About Spherical Heating Mantles
The Cary Company's heating mantles offer uniform heat distribution for glass round-bottom flasks. Spherical heating mantles are an excellent no-flame alternative to Bunsen burners in a laboratory setting. With an upper and lower hemispherical heating mantle connected by a zipper for easy installation, spherical heating mantles offer full-coverage heating. The opening is large enough to hold 1, 2, or 3 neck flasks. Spherical heating mantles are idea for use with a basket ring stand.

These heating mantles feature a uniform, low-watt density knitted and braided heating element capable of temperatures up to 842° F (450° C). The multi-stranded resistance wire offers increased durability and flexibility. Spherical heating mantles feature a fibercloth out shell, ceramic insulation, wool insulation, the heating element and a pre-molded fiberglass liner. The 120VAC model includes a 3" (76mm) lead wire with NEMA L1-15R connector and a 4' (1.2m) power adaptor cord with NEMA 1-15 plug. The 240VAC model includes 3" (76mm) lead wire with no plug. Temperature controller is required and not included.
