BriskHeat® SDX benchtop digital temperature controllers are affordable and compact controllers ideal for a laboratory environment or similar applications. Proportional, integral, derivative (PID) controllers feature a control loop mechanism which employs feedback and allows for continuously modulated control. Proportional is the actual variance in temperature, integral is the previous variance and derivative is the predicted future variance. Using a formula, the controller can maintain a more accurate actual temperature to match the set temperature. This autotuning means that the PID controller is ideal for more sensitive applications where the actual temperature needs to more closely match the set temperature.

SDX temperature controllers feature a 4-key touch pad interface and a plug-and-play design to allow the controller to be easy to use. These controllers are programmable for On/Off control as well as programmable in Fahrenheit (° F) and Celsius (° C). The benchtop design allows the device to be versatile to set up and move wherever it is needed. SDX controllers' environmental exposure should be limited to indoor use. Intended operating range is from 32° F to 111° F (0° C to 44° C). Storage range is from -4° F to 158° F (-20° C to 70° C). This PID controller should not be exposed to a relative humidity above 95%.

These PID controllers have an audible alarm that is programmable for high or low absolute or deviation. The temperature control range is from 0° F to 999° F and 0° C to 999° C. Our PID controllers have an accuracy of +/- 0.5% span. Each controller includes a C14 plug for wiring to heater.
