    Specifications
The 19B236 is an 8" (203.2mm) full height test sieve with a No. 20 mesh. This sieve, or sifter, is constructed with a stainless steel frame and stainless steel wire mesh cloth. Full height 8" sieves have a 2" depth to the wire cloth and are easily nestable. The No. 20 mesh is a medium size U.S. Standard mesh size with a 0.0331" (850μm) nominal sieve opening with a typical wire diameter of 0.5mm. Die-formed frames assure a proper fit, superior quality and performance, guaranteeing that the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) specifications are always met. ASTM E11 certified and made in the U.S.A.

Testing sieves are a cost-effective quality control product for particle size analysis. Stainless steel test sieves are known for being durable with non-corrosive properties which are not altered by water and are preferable for wet sieving such as food applications, aggregates, mining, and pharmaceuticals. Brass sieves are more cost efficient but less durable. Test sieves are commonly used for separating, fractioning, and particle size measurement of fertilizers, coffee, construction materials, plastics, soils, cement clinker and more. They are often used in many industries, from agricultural, chemicals, construction, to pharmaceuticals.
