This 50 ml airless pump bottle is made up of three components: a frosted acrylonitrile styrene (AS) bottle with a silver metal-coated base, a glossy silver metal-coated plastic airless pump, and a silver metal-coated plastic overcap. The airless pump mechanism creates a vacuum effect when dispensing product. It keeps air out of the product chamber, reducing the risk of bacterial growth. The airless pump also makes touch-free, precise application possible, maximizing product. The overcap snaps into place on the 20mm-wide neck. This airless pump bottle is excellent for serum, foundation, acne treatment, cleansers, and other cosmetic skincare applications. Certain components are made with LDPE and PE plastic.

Cosmetic Airless Pumps for Product Freshness
Airless pumps get their name from their ability to keep air out of the product chamber, prolonging shelf-life. Airless technology depends both on the pump and container components. The pump creates a vacuum, pushing up a piston, or plate, located at the bottom of the container. The piston pushes the product towards the pump, while also creating a barrier between the product and air that fills the empty portion of the container. Airless pumps reduce the risk of micobial growth caused by oxygen by keeping air out of the product chamber. They allow for direct, hygienic container-to-applicator use while making controlled dispensing easy, maximizing product. Please note, a vaccum needs to be built up, requiring several presses before it dispenses product.
