X-Proof motors are explosion proof electric motors that are ideal for additional safety when mixing potentially volatile liquids. Drum pumps are ergonomic as they can eliminate the need to lift containers during liquid transfer. The 316 stainless steel tube is 40" for use with 55 gallon drums other similar-sized containers. Stainless steel is ideal for flammables such as fuels and solvents compared to plastic alternatives. The discharge connection is larger than traditional drum pumps and is a 1.5" hose barb for high viscosity liquids.

Is this drum pump food grade and do have documentation saying that it is a food grade pump?
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, Part #38B776 is not food grade. However, we do have two comparable food-grade options, Part #38B750, 55 Gallon Drum Pump w/40" USDA Stainless Steel Tube, 1/2 HP Air Motor, 2000 cps, 16 gpm (TT Series) and Part #38B751, 55 Gallon Drum Pump w/40" USDA Stainless Steel Tube, 1/4 HP TEFC Motor, 400 cps, 10 gpm (TT Series). Part #38B750 can handle up to 2000 cps max viscosity which makes it a better application for thicker, more viscous fluids, while Part #38B751 can handle up to 400 cps max viscosity.
