The multilayer design provides a graded density with 40-56 square feet of filtration media compared to 4.4 square feet in most standard filter bags.     The Cary Company's high performance layered liquid filter bags offer absolute filtration at efficiencies to 99% with the ability to filter trace contaminants from a wide range of liquids. The multilayer design provides a graded density with 40-56 square feet of filtration media compared to 4.4 square feet in most standard filter bags. The additional media gives these high performance bags more surface area for a high dirt loading capacity and extended service life. They are well suited for absorbing trace oils that can frequently occur in processed fluids as these liquid filter bags have oil holding capacities 15-25 times their own weight depending on the micron rating.

    Our high performance layered liquid filter bags come in polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PE) for a wide range of chemical compatibility. Both filtration medias comply with FDA regulations for food and beverage contact and are silicone-free. These liquid filter bags will fit in most size #2 strainer baskets.
