- Specifications
- This is an explosion proof (X-Proof) motor tote pump with a 2" Dia. x 48" L polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) tube with a max. flow of 8.0 gpm and a max. viscosity of 500 cps. This tote pump is ideal for light to medium viscosity liquids and high flow applications. Sealless and high performance, the tote pump has dry run capability and a double suction impeller. The polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) construction can handle temperatures up to 120° F and offers durability and good chemical resistance. The tote pump works with liquids with a maximum specific gravity of 1.83.
The explosion proof motor performance is reduced to 8 gpm in order to reduce static electricity during use for additional safety when mixing potentially volatile liquids. Tote pumps can provide container-to-container liquid transfer when the tote is too heavy to lift. The plastic tube is 48" for use with 275 gallon IBC totes and similar-sized containers. The discharge connection is a variable orifice barb. Versatile for multiple applications across industries, the tote pump offers easy disassembly for cleaning.Key benefits:
